Exclamation mark notifies that the driver is not installed right or there is a driver conflict to find if there is a drive conflict right click on the driver and select properties and at the centre u should have a code there.Please post the code. U can get the drivers form the support site

According to MicroSoft KB Article ID: 310123 The drivers for this device are not installed.Try uninstalling the driver and reboot the computer and then check it if the device is listed in theOther Device option the download the driver and install it form the support site :)

I installed the network card driver but I still see an exclamation mark near "PCI Simple Communications Controller" so what else do I need to install? and how?0

Chipset and Modem drivers.

Download the Chipset driver from the drivers/download page for this model PC onto your desktop. Reboot in Safe Mode (F8 before Windows starts to load) and double-click on the file you downloaded. Reboot normally when it's done. 

Does that fix the problem?

If you need to install the modem driver too, you have to install the chipset in safe mode and then reboot normally before installing the modem driver. Otherwise modem driver probably won't install correctly.
