Dell Precision 370 cd rom not found on instalation

A friend of mine gave me his Dell server when he got a new one for himself. A wonderful machine with an inconveniance: I cannot reinstall the operating system using the Dell operating system CD, I get a blue screen telling me the CD rom drive cannot be found. The computer has 2 hard drives, SATA.
