Dell Support. Automatic Check for Updates
I've been really impressed with the way Dell checks my system and checks for updates for me .I was wondering if Dell will still continue to ensure my system is up to date once my warranty expires.
Ideas anyone please? Thank you for any help.
Whoops should have posted this in the General Section. Sorry.

Hi John,
Hope you are doing well. The windows updates we are discussing about is an automatic update form Microsoft hence it doesn't matter if the system is in warranty or out of warranty it will auto update the system when there is an update available provided its connected to internet.

Thanks Parnoshree. The one I'm talking about is the Dell Update. It checks every three days or so. It says "Dell Update 1.9.4.0. This application keeps your system current with the latest important updates from Dell. a short while ago it updated the BIOS. I didn't think the Microsoft Updates would do that. It's the little downward pointing arrow with the cog in the task bar. Confused.
