Dell Support Center PC Checkup
Everything passed in the Dell Support Center PC Checkup scan except the SMART Short Self Test on the hardrive which says timed out. Its been doing this for the longest time. What does this mean? Everything else has all passed. Please respond as soon as u can. Thank u.

Hi Salcrll,
This is a frequently asked question. I suggest you test the hard drive using the Dell diagnostics using your drivers and utilities disc.
I wouldn't trust PC Checkup.

Ok. How do u use Dell diagnostics though? Where can i find it?
