Fixed problem was very simple but never covered in manuel or Dell. The little button next to the blue Bluetooth light push and it will link to the keyboard.

    Hi,

To troubleshoot the issue, I would recommend you to follow the steps mentioned below to check if it would resolve the issue:

     1) Turn off the system and disconnect the system from the power outlet.

    2)  After unplugging the system, press and hold the power button down for 15-20 seconds.

    3) Discharge static electricity from your body before you touch any of your computer's electronic components, by touching an unpainted metal surface on the computer chassis.

    4) Open the system tower sending you link in how to open the system tower:

<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>

    5) Reseat the cable running from the media card reader (internal Bluetooth is part of the media card reader assembly).

Although you have uninstalled/installed the drivers, just to ensure that we have latest drivers. Download the drivers from:

    http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/DriverFileFormats/Product/latitude-e6500?DriverId=7X5CF&FileId=2976025559&urlProductCode=False

Please do write back to us with the results for the next course of action.

    Hi,

You can also try to re-synchronize the keyboard once again after changing the battery and check if that would work if not then the issue might be with the keyboard.

Please reply if you have any further questions.
