Dell motherboard msata
The motherboard for my Dell 8700 has msata on board. I am adding a 120 ssd to install the Win7 OS on. Do I need to be concerned about the msata when I install the OS? The original hdd has win8 on it which I am leaving as is but will disconnect while installing OS to ssd.

Hi Mathewsrl3109,
No, the mSATA drive shouldn't cause any problems. You can just leave it an as extra drive for whatever purpose.

I have not even booted this computer yet since I wanted to install win 7 on the ssd and designate it as the boot drive. if I need more help I will post it here.
