Dell on-board RAID controller - modify "verify" conditions
Hello all,
I'm wondering if there is a simple way to adjust the actions taken after specific events on the raid controller. For example, by default if the system (we use Optiplex and Precision systems) is running a RAID1 and reboots or powers down unexpectedly (blue screen, power outage, user holds power button for 4 seconds, etc) then when the system is turned back on it will run a verify across the RAID volume. This can take in the two+ hour range on very large drives, and it takes priority over other items accessing the hard drives, so booting in to Windows or trying to work on the system during the verify is pretty much out of the question... Is there a way to modify under what circumstances the verify is run, basically tell it not to run a verify after an unexpected shutdown all-together, or be able to narrow down specific circumstances where it will and will not run?
Thanks for any replies!

Scratch the "simple way" part, really I'm looking for any way to do this. A different (third-party) BIOS or other alternatives are fine. If there are any ways of doing this, please share =)
