Dello Vostro 200 CPU
I have a dell vostro 200 with a G33M02 motherboard BIOS 1.0.16. the current CPU is an Intel Celeron 420 (1.6GHz, 800FSB, single core). i want to upgrade to an intel celeron E3300. i have found a few compatibility charts but most seem to be outdated and dont have this processor listed. it is listed on foxconns site for the g33m motherboard though. is this cpu compatible?

It probably is, but why not go a little further to a Pentium Dual Core? If you're in the States, Star Micro has the E5200 OEM for $45 with shipping.

Yes i did see that list, but its from 2008. i went for it and installed the e3300 and it worked fine for anyone interested.
