Dimension 4300 Memory Question

Hi, i'm thinking of upgrading my memory on my Dimension 4300. Currently i have 128mb that came with my dell. i want a 512mb one and i have a few sticks on my mind but just one question... can i add the 512mb WITH the 128mb for a total of 640mb? would that work out or not?

Yes, if you are running XP, then you can add a 512MB module to the 128MB installed, if not, then the maximum is 512MB.    The following article maybe helpful.

If you are running 98/WMe, then read the following.
