Dimension E520 - Dell speakers volume control button problems
I have a Dell Dimension E520 with XP. The speakers that came with the desktop has a volume control on one of the speakers and I used to be able to adjust the volume with the button but lately it doesn't work. I can only turn on or off with the slide button but can't adjust the volume. I have to use one of the windows volume control to do this and it's very annoying. Does anyone have any ideas. Thanks in advance.

Hi Mr. PL,
This is a mechanical issue with the volume button on the speaker. This has nothing to do with your system or any software. The volume control button cannot be replaced. You may consider purchasing a new set of speakers for yourself.
