DisplayPort and Dell 2408WFP
I purchased monitor 2408WFP last evening. I use Sonic 9600 GT (with 174.74 Nvidia driver) and to connect to monitor I decided to use DisplayPort. After conect the cable to monitor and videoadapter I turn on computer. But monitor says me "No DisplayPort cable". What I did incorrectly?
After changed connection to DVI I received a picture. All was good. But DisplayPort didn't work. :womansad:
Give me please advice - what I can do?

Hello, Did you change the input on the monitor via the menu settings on the front of the monitor?

Hi,
could be possible that you used a low-quality adapter cable. At least there are still problems/incompatibilities with this DP technology and the used cables to connect display with graphic outputs...

Same problem with a Diamond HD5870 and 2408WFP. No image via DispalyPort. The monitor comes with a cable from Dell so I would hope it is good! And here I was hoping to have a 3 monitor system. Now I have to try to find another card and another monitor to isolate this mess....
