Does my motherboard have an SATA port?
Seriously, there's no info about my motherboard on the "Original System Configuration" page.
I looked at the motherboard but didn't see anything that looked like a SATA controller.
See, I made the mistake of buying a SATA hard drive without making sure the motherboard has SATA capability.
Before I return the hard drive or buy an SATA/IDE converter I'd like to know for sure one way or the other.
If I called tech support would they be able to tell me?
Can someone help me out?

No, that model has no SATA ports; IDE/PATA only:

Hello,
Question regarding the Dimesion 3000 without Sata ports, also purchased Sata hard drive for Dimension 3000, how can we add Sata hard drive without the port?
Any specific PCI adaptors or dual type cable that we can use?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
