Dots on my startup screen

Hey guys, I am a some what noob in regards to pc. It has been a long time since I have fixed anything, hardware and software. I never seen this dots before. There are blue dots on my start up. I was just sitting at the pc doing some research and they popped up.

Hi CypherzOrion,

To understand the issue and assist you better, I request you to post an image of the screen with blue dots.

Also, please check if the blue Dots appear in BIOS screen and Safe mode with networking.

To check in BIOS, restart the computer and tap F2 at Dell logo. Check if the blue dots appear on the screen.

To check in Safe mode with networking, restart the computer and tap F8 at Dell logo and select Safe mode with networking.

Please post the results.

the dots didnt show on bios nor safety mode, but when i restarted it was all clear until i opened up facebook. It only showed for one second during the load up, on the mouse.

Hi CypherzOrion,

The issue could be with the monitor as well. I suggest you to run monitor Self-test and check if the dots appear in the test.

If it is a Dell monitor, please post the model of the monitor, I will check and assist you with the steps to run Self-test.
