Dual analog monitors - Optiplex 740
I would like to run two analog monitors on my Optiplex 740. One from the motherboard and one on another video card. Can anyone suggest a card that I can do this with?

ok ... when you plug a video card into the PCIe 16 slot the computer shuts off the motherboard's built-in graphics ... what you need is a video card that supports more than one monitor which all modern cards do.
most cards today don't have 2 vga ports on them ... they will have combonations of vga, dvi, hdmi, or display port ... you will want to get a card with one vga and one dvi then use a DVI to VGA adapter ... unless anyone else knows of a card with 2 vga ports on it.
I can't suggest a specific card without knowing what it's for and whether your case is standard or low profile.
