GUI remnants on screen- T1700 Workstation with Intel Integrated Graphics

I keep getting these GUI remnants on my screen from previous programs. I have T1700 Workstation with Intel Integrated Graphics. I have Win 7 Professional 64 bit OS. My monitor is Dell U2412M. 

Please see the attached screenshot. 

They always stay on top. The only way to get rid of these GUI remnants is to change display resolution and then back. It happen about 15+ times a day!

Any suggestions?
