GeForce 9400GT on Dell Optiplex 320
Hi guys,
I got a Dell Optiplex 320. Recently we purchased some Dell 30'' Widescreen Flatpanel(3007WFP) monitors that support a resolution of 2560x1600. Since the stock display adapter on the optiplex cannot handle that high resolution, I purchased a Geforce 9400GT with 512MB Video RAM.
The PC boots fine when I connect a VGA cable(with any Monitor) or if i use a DVI cable with 17'' Monitor(1708FP). But if i connect the DVI cable to the 30'' monitor and try to boot the machine, it doesnot boot at all. I hear 1 long beep followed by 3 short continous beeps and 2 short beeps.
I have tried this card on other PC's(different make and model) and those machines boot well. I even tried to replace the stock 305W PSU with a 350W PSU, in vain.
Any suggestions? This machine is for work use and we need to use these big screens with high resolution.
Cheers,
H R

Hi raza55555, Your manual is HERE. Can you run the Dell Diagnostics by pressing F12 on startup, and posting back the results. Thanks
