Graphics Card?
The difficulty iv had with my computer and graphics card has been crazy. After receiving the computer with a faulty graphics card and getting a replacement, said replacement maybe lasted a year if that. Then it exploded, or well there was a spark and then smoke, but still scary for the young girl I am. Now I have a dinky graphic card and would really love an upgrade.
I started with the AMD Radeon HD 8990 and now have Something from the AMD Radeon HD 7500 series, not sure which.
I want something that can play games well or very well and what i have is not cutting it.
Any suggestions on comparable graphics cards? Thanks.

We need to know which Dell desktop model you have there? Are you saying that the current video card installed works in the system?

EVGA GeForce GTX 960 SuperSC ACX 2.0+ 2GB GDDR5 128bit 02G-P4-2966-KR it comes with a 2 X 6 pin to 8 pin Y cable so the stock power supply should be fine.
more than 2 Gigs is not going to improve the card and it will raise the price.

Make no mistake though this is not going to perform 4K full screen video.
For that you need 3 way SLI GTX 980's and a 1500W power supply in an Area 51 Triad.
