Have lost codec
When useing Windows Movie Maker and trying to add music. I get this message> codec required to play file is not installed on your computer. How do I recover this file? Windows Vista Home Basic.

The Vista Codec Pack should solve it, but of the problem persists... I've never known the K-Lite Codec Pack (available on that same website) to fail :emotion-55:

RealFireblade is correct , if vista codec pack does not work K-Lite codec pack or K-Lite Mega Codec pack will, both K-lite packs have more codecs than the vista codec pack, u can find the K-Lite packs at the same link i posted above.
