Headphones not working when plugging into the monitor

So I've just set up my PC yesterday along with the monitor and keyboard,I plugged my headphones into the monitor yesterday and it works but now plugging it into the monitor doesn't work,I have to plug it in directly to the front of thePC which would work except that it's position is kinda uncomfortable and hard for me to work with so I'm trying to have my headphones work when i plug it into the monitor again

Does anyone how to make it do so? Now when i plug it into the monitor it doesn't even show up under "Playback devices",all the drivers are updated as well,someone please help!
