Hi I am curious if I restore to factory image will having a different gpu(GTX470) other than the one came with my pc(ATI 5770) cause problems?

Dell Studio XPS 8100 1986nbc I need to restore to factory or do a clean install, because I have been using this install for a year and I got a couple small issues. I have upgraded this pc with new 600w psu and Nvidia GTX470 and I wonder if the new gpu will cause problems when the factory image installs old ATI/AMD CCC drivers? Or will I be able to uninstall CCC and reinstall Nvidia drivers or will I not have a screen due to incorrect drivers being installed by restoring? Any info/help THANKS!
