How do i get a detailed Hardware List (PDF) of my specific system?
hi guys! how r u?
I have a out of warranty Dell System which still works great. i just need a detailed list of all the hardware in my system for my records. i looked all over the document support page. i did find a component list but its so hard to read. i called the out of warranty phone number and they said i would have to pay for that info??? what???
can an invoice tell me all my hardware? if this can't be done u guys should put a Hardware List PDF in our documentation support page?

You can go here and put in your service tag. Assuming it recognizes the tag, click the System Configuration tab and it should give you a list of factory installed components.

yes but that list is so hard to read........i'll try Google.. like i said just add a in plain English hardware list on the dell support site .... how hard is that? man, dell has good systems but when your warranty is out support goes out the window...

Ok i requested a packing slip to be email to me. that should do it. But in the future if u can please put all packing slip info on the Support Dell site. Thanks.
