How to: Dell Optical Mouse & scroll wheel double-click

The MS Intellimouse has options to allow the scroll wheel to function as a double-click,  and for the pointer to jump to the OK button on dialog boxes etc.

Is there any way to let my Dell Optical mouse (USB) support these extra functions? I try to have the scroll wheel to function as a double-click but it just will not.

Kind regards,

It is a DELL optical mouse, not from MS or Logitech.

You can try Mouseware from Logitech if your mouse alse from Logitech.

This application can assign your mouse button.

I am getting old and thus blind  ... in realy small print I now can read the word..... logitech. Installed MouseWare and everything works. If I was not so blind then this thread would have never take place.
