Hi Dinesh.P,

I would suggest you to run the Dell Diagnostics to check the hardware functionality. Power off the computer -> restart the computer, press 'F12' key on the Dell logo -> Select ‘Diagnostics’ from the boot menu. Please refer to the link if any error code shows up http://dell.to/OUGnqT

Alternatively, you may run the Fixit to increase the performance:

  • Click on the link http://bit.ly/SaqEhY
  • Click ‘Run Now’
  • Click on ‘Save’
  • Choose the location as desktop, save the file on the desktop
  • Right click on the file and choose ‘Run as Administrator’
  • Choose ‘Allow’ if prompted
  • Follow the on screen instructions to run the program
  • Restart the computer

Please reply if you have any questions.

Hi Appu ,

I don't want any app for fast-up my system.

Any other option to fast-up system without installing any apps

Hi Dinesh.P,

Thank you for the response; appreciate your concern. The Fixit that I suggested is a Microsoft utility for improving system performance; not a third party application.

There are many possible reasons for the system running slow. Performing the steps that I suggested will help us narrow down the diagnosis and is likely to help us further. Please share the results of the hardware diagnostics.

I would also suggest you to check if the issue persists in Safe Mode. Power off the computer -> Restart the computer, tap F8 on Dell logo 2-3 times -> This will take you to ‘Windows Advanced Boot Options’ -> Choose ‘Safe Mode’ in the Advanced Boot menu (use ‘up’ or ‘down’ arrow keys to highlight the option, press ‘enter’ to select) ->When Windows finishes loading in Safe mode, check if the computer is working fine.

You may also perform a clean boot; is likely that a start up program is interfering with the functionality. Please refer to the video for step by step instructions.

Hope this helps.
