How to restore the Dell Inspiron 660 to the factory default setting?

I have just got a Dell Inspiron 660 desktop PC. Can you tell me how to restore the PC to the factory default setting or reinstallation of the OS in case the PC has virus and I have to wipe out all the data? Thank you for your answer.

Depends on version of Windows. Win7: Reboot and press F8; look for the restore option on the menu. Might be on the Advanced Options menu. Win 8 / 8.1: Go to the Recovery and Update screen and follow the prompts.

Hi, my PC Dell Inspiron 660 has Windows 8. It has not been upgraded to the 8.1. How to access the Recovery and restore the PC to the factory default setting? Thank you for your answer.

Search Settings from the "modern" desktop for reset. You should see a link for "remove everything..."
