I-580 mainboard temperature

I have the following I-580:

Intel i3, 3.2GHz

4GB RAM

Video (upgrade) NVIDIA GeForce 210

Win 10, 64bit (upgrade)

I have a performance monitor (Advanced Systems Care 9) that is showing my mainboard temp spiking to 192 degrees F. If I run a fan on the vent side of the case, it settles down to about 80 degrees F.

CPU, case, and PS fans seem to be running fine.

I think this temp spike is causing network drops and reboots. The question is; where is this temp monitored on the mainboard? Would a bad sensor fake out the system into thinking it was too hot?

Thanks
