I'm not sure if the ram I'm trying to install is compatible with my pc

I tried installing two 4gb sticks of ram in my Dell Optiplex 780 SFF, but my computer won't booth up and it starts beeping with either of the two sticks installed.(I installed the two sticks of ram separately, one after the other, not as a pair). Someone told me that updating the bios might help out, but it hasn't. I'm starting to think that the ram is not compatible with the motherboard. If anyone can please help me with some feedback I'd be grateful and appreciate it very much.

The RAM appears not to be compatible.

Check Crucial's  site here:
