I need a part number for a Inspiron 530 hard drive bay
The Inspiron 530 I have is the mid tower. Does the drive bay interchange with any other case?
Where can I buy a replacement bay?

Couldn't find one in English (DUH!) but here's one in Spanish. At least you can look at the pictures starting on page 158.
Looks like #5 in drawing on 158 is the boot hard drive, and #4 is the bay for an optional hard drive. Drawing on page 161 shows where the screws go

The hard drive bay does not interchange with others. It is build as part of the case structure itself, and the hard drives mount directly to it via screws.

I must be looking at it wrong because the case is allot wider and none of the screw hole line up.
do you have access to a picture showing how the drive gets mounted?
Also I cannot find a parts manual anywhere that has part numbers for this machine can you help with this?

Glad that helped and hopefully you've figured out how to install the hard drive.
I bugged Dell because manual in English isn't accessible and they're looking to see what happened to it.
