Hello:emotion-1:

I have a dimension 8300 running Windows XP. When I download an update from windows update or have to reboot computer I recieve a bluescreen error IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL  STOP:0x0000000A (0xC5C38C00, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x804EBE3E) .  With militple STOP errors all the same except for the first number when bracket starts. STOP:0x0000000A(0xC9039000,.....   STOP: 0x0000000A(0xC3300800,.............  STOP: 0x0000000A(0xC316800,..........and so on. I think it is driver related but not sure, tried to download new creative driver from Dell downloads page but no sucess. When I shut off computer and unplug power cord from back of tower for five minutes computer will reboot normanlly.Checked all fans and cleaned dust inside tower and everthing looks good.

Check:

The condition of the capacitors on the mainboard - these are the can shaped devices clustered around the CPU and video card sockets.  If any are bulging on top or leaking, replace the mainboard and the power supply.

IF the caps are OK, boot to the diagnostics (F12) and run an extended hard drive diagnostic test (NOT just the quick test).
