Icons moving

Sorry if this is a repeat post.

I have purchased a Dell P2715Q, it's set to it's native resolution (4K). If I go to a game that isn't set to 4K all the desktop icons move as I come back out and back to the desktop. Is there a way of preventing this or even a program that will save icon positions that you can then restore?
