Insperion 350s has most services Disabled on boot

Has been running well using Win7 for several years but had to re-install 7 and that worked fine until I booted after joining a domain. My net connection was gone and I soon discovered most all services were disabled. Re-boots has no effect on changed services.

Hi pozburn,

I would suggest you to try enabling the services from ‘msconfig’. You may follow the steps below:

  • Press ‘Windows’ key + R on ‘Desktop’ screen.
  • Type ‘msconfig’ in run box and press .
  • Click ‘Services’ and then Click ‘Enable All’.
  • Please ensure ‘Hide all Microsoft Services’ is unchecked.
  • Restart the system.

You may restore the system back to a previous date when it was working fine. Please refer to the link: http://dell.to/16etSYS for steps to perform System Restore.

*Note: System Restore will not cause any loss of data. However, any applications installed after the date to which the system is being restored to would be uninstalled.
