Inspiron 2205 AIO Boots into LCD Test
Hello,
I have this Inspiron 2205 All In One that is having a very peculiar issue. When the system boots up, it boots into Dell's LCD test. It flashes in a loop from white, red, green,blue and black then repeats. It does not respond to any commands, or standard key stroke combinations. I have tried looking into the issue and have not come across anyone else having this problem. I have two other systems with the same issue. (one of them is a Inspiron 2320 All In One).
Has anyone else seen this issue?

Hi Juancho,
That means your display is getting no signal from the video card. Do you see the Dell logo, and can you boot into the BIOS (F2)?

Hey Osprey4,
Thanks for the quick reply. There is no splash screen what so ever. The system boots into the LCD test. I used a good image from another system to see if it boots in the background, but it does not make any of the normal sounds. No beeps either. Looks like I might need to replace the motherboard unless I find a solution.

You should try connecting an external monitor and see if you get anything.
I do not recommend replacing parts until you know what the problem is.
