Inspiron 24 7459 - RAM
I am replacing the two 4Gb chips with 1x 16Gb chip. I understand I need to put it in the primary RAM slot but I cannot see anything to tell me which one that is. Is it the one closest to the bottom of the motherboard or the one nearest the bottom of the computer?
Can anyone help, please?

The manual doesn't say but from what i've done with laptops, its generally the bottom slot.
