Inspiron 3656 Desktop, GeForce GTX 1050?
Will a GeForce GTX 1050 card work in a Inspiron 3656 Desktop? I really would appreciate any help with this.

It may not because this is an AMD board. They have AMD Radeon HD R9 360 as an option.

According to this, the recommended power supply needed for the GeForce GTX 1050 is 300w, so no, it will not work on the Inspiron 3656 Desktop 180w power supply. Unless you remove our power supply and install a higher wattage 3rd party power supply.
We tested the Inspiron 3656 Desktop with the following OEM (original equipment manufacturer) video cards using our 180w power supply =
TNVVF Nvidia GeForce GT 705
9YJWT Nvidia GeForce GT 720
J27RG Nvidia GeForce GT 730
1MPR3 AMD Radeon R9 360
