Inspiron 3847, GPU upgrade Nvidia GTX 750 Ti?
I was wondering if it would be fine to add an Nvidia GTX 750 TI, the PSU for this desktop should be 300 watts, the add on card says it's suitable for 300 watts. Would I be able to add in a card for this type of desktop? Do you recommend getting a new PSU all together?

Processor: i5 4440
RAM: 8GB
os: win7/8 (disk for 8 is included)

300w is the minimum power supply requirement. I would upgrade to at least a 400w Corsair power supply.
