Inspiron 530 CPU too hot? - but why?
I used the SpeedFan utility and it's result are as shown:
I have cleaned the fans in the box as best as I can. Computer would shutdown randomly.
Also, it would run very loud - have to turn up TV to hear it!!!! After last cleaning it is pretty normal soundwise.
My machine is a Dell Inspiron 530
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 2.40GHz
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Check the heatsink's cooling fins [page 165], under the fan I've found that they can get a dust build up also.

I will do that as well. I have cleaned the fan(s) at the back of the box, but have not removed the front bezel yet.

Did you clean the processor's heatsink's cooling fins, also the air intakes, located in the front panel?
To clean the air intakes, the front bezel must be removed.
