Inspiron 5675, 1.3.5 bios update, erratic Logitech M510 mouse
I updated my bios to the new 1.3.5 and now the Logitech M510 mouse is very erratic. It was fine until the update. The update shows improved support for PS 2 mice has one of the features. I think it has caused problem with USB connected mice.

Have you looked on the Logitech website to see if they have provided newer software? Test the Logitech M510 USB receiver in all of the Inspiron 5675 front and rear USB ports.

Yes deleted the mouse software and downloaded latest, I have changed the receiver to front back and usb 3.0 hub on my dell monitor. It was fine yesterday before i updated the bios. the mouse is the only issue i have seen.

OK. Well devices going through the monitor HUB into the PC is a different discussion. You are adding an additional level of USB communication that is not really needed. Test the Logitech M510 USB receiver in all of the Inspiron 5675 front and rear USB ports.

Rolling back a BIOS can be done on some systems, but if it fails, you could break the CMOS which would mean getting a replacement motherboard. You did test the receiver on every system USB port? Both USB 2.0, USB 3.0, and USB 3.1?
Front left top USB 3.0 charging/Front right top USB 2.0
Front left bottom USB 3.1/Front right bottom USB 2.0
Rear top = USB 3.1/USB 3.1/USB 3.1/USB 3.1
Rear bottom = USB 2.0/USB 2.0

This software lists the M510 in supported devices, but when you download and install the logitech options software that is 6.70.1204 it runs and comes up with message that my mouse is not supported to use setpoint software which i have latest version 6.67.83

Maybe you need to contact Logitech support directly if the mouse is listed as supported, but the software doesn't like it...
