Inspiron 5675, fastest memory?
The Inspiron Gaming Desktop 5675 comes with a Kingston 2400MHz 17-17-17-39 memory. This benchmarks slower than the DDR3 I had in my 2600k system (Performance Test V7). I plan to replace with some G.Skill Fortis or Flare X memory, will they work on the Dell Motherboard? Fortis and Flare X are both 15-15-15-39 at 2400MHz. Any other tips to optimize this 5675 system?

After testing G skill 3200Mhz C14 and Adata D10 3000Mhz C16, finally I find out the memory setting in 5675.
5675 will just read memory standard SPD (JEDEC) setting and will not use the XMP setting.
Most high speed memory use XMP setting for label speed, however, the standard SPD (JEDEC) is just 2133, such as G skill 3200Mhz C14, which on run at 2133 on 5675.
Adata D10 DDR4 3000 C16 is XMP3000, but its standard SPD (JEDEC) is 2666, so two Adata D10 3000 C16 are running well at standard SPD (JEDEC) 2666Mhz 20-19-19-43-62-1T on my 5675.
Another choice is Kingston Fury HyperX DDR4 2666 C16, which standard SPD (JEDEC) is also 2666.

I contacted g skill about the flair, they said it would work but would only run at 2133 speed

I thought the MB can take 2400MHz DDR4 is that correct?
Will any run at 2400MHz then?
Can anyone suggest the fastest DDR that will worth with the Inspiron 5675.

I just heard back from G.Skill and they recommend these for this Dell System
G.SKILL FORTIS Series 16GB DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Model F4-2400C15D-16GFT
G.SKILL FORTIS Series 32GB DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Model F4-2400C15D-32GFT

As per the specs I am seeing the system should run the memory at 2400 , let me know if that is correct once you install it.

I got the Fortis which I think only goes to 2400mhz and you can get the Flare X at higher speeds, except the Dell motherboard max is 2400mhz.
SO the RESULTS are in!
In every memory benchmark test I did the Fortis gave better result.
The Fortis even helped the CPU score go up.
Just changing the memory along raised my PassMark Test from 4343 to 4790 over all score.
I have a bunch more benchmarks also.
So far I fell it's money WELL SPENT.
Too bad DELL doesn't use G.Skill from the start!

Have you tried Intel XTU to overclock the memory?
I was able to use this on my Haswell i7 4700 / Z87 chipset and knock the latency down a little.

Should have check this forum first. Oh Well.... I bought 2 Corsair Dominator. It can do DDR4 at 2666 with C15. But it only runs at 2133 . Is it the CPU, chipset of Dell did something?

I think Dell sets a limit for the ram speed. I don't know if you try to use Ryzen Master to control the memory speed.

I just wanted to say thanks for recommending the G.Skill Fortis memory. My Passmark score also went up by about the same amount after upgrading to the Fortis from the memory that came with machine.
