Inspiron 580s graphic card upgrade to Radeon HD 7570

I wanted to upgrade my son's graphic card and went to Dell online to check for compatible graphics cards. It showed the AMD Radeon HD 7570 as being compatible with the Inspiron 580s. I received the card and put it in the open slot in the computer and loaded the software with the enclosed DVD. I am not able to get the computer to detect the new card. I noticed that the packing slip says that the card is for an OpitiPlex 9010. Should it say that it is customized for an Inspiron 580s? Does this mean that Dell sent me the wrong card, or should it work regardless?

It is compatible with several Dell systems including the 580s.  Therefore, it should work.  This card as I see it is way overpriced.  If you actually spent $159, you should send it back.  At the price, you should have gotten the much better HD 7750.  Otherwise, get the HD 6570 at half the price.
