Hi Therealpakman,

Do you see "HID-compliant touch screen" in device manager? If so, try a driver update search for that device.

I do not see that. Also when I go to computer properties. It says no pen or touch input avaliable.

No unknown devices.  I have 2 HID-Mouse devices. I guess it's no longer reading the touch screen or mabey reading it wrong,  my monitor is reading as generic pnp. Not sure if that's right or not.  Dell wants to much money to help me.

Do you have any unknown devices in device manager? Obviously if the device is not present in device manager, it's not going to work.

The touch Screen and Wireless adapter are OPTIONAL features not guaranteed features.  I have also seen drivers that work fine with windows 7 but do not work at all in windows 8.  Touch screen drivers are highly dependent on video drivers.

The latitude 2100 for example with touch screen DOES NOT work with windows 8 or 8.1 and the metro interface. The software installs but the touch screen stops working even when it worked fine with windows 7.

I too cannot get my touch screen to operate!!! I had turned it off about a year ago. Now that I have upgraded to Windows 10 I want to use it. I have tried EVERYTHING! I do have the HID touchscreen listed, and the driver is up to date. Nothing seems to be working!! I am so frustrated! I have been working on this issue for about two hours now. I cannot find anything that works....
