Intel Core Processor vs. Pentium 4

Greetings,

I was wanting to purchase a Tape to PC Super USB Cassette-to-MP3 Converter Capture Audio Music Player but the specifications required a Pentium 4 1.7 GHz CPU or above.

However, I have a Dell Studio 540 (which has an Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93 GHz processor).  Does anyone know if this MP3 converter will work with my processor?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

In regards to processing capabilities, the E7500 CPU is made of higher technology than the Pentium 4 chips and is more recent. Hence, it should not have any problems as per the specifications required.

However, it is recommended that you contact the Software vendor directly and check with them if the software can run on this specific CPU since we cannot guarantee performance from our end.
