Is the Optiplex GX520 compatible with the Pentium D 900 series?
Specifically the 915 -- dual core, 2.8ghz, 800mhz FSB, 4mb L2 -> http://ark.intel.com/products/27515/Intel-Pentium-D-Processor-915-(4M-Cache-2_80-GHz-800-MHz-FSB)

Yes but you must update the bios and the heatsink is copper instead of aluminum.
