Hard to say, other than that must have been an option on this model and it was included any 530 or it was supposed to have a lightscribe burner?
Considering the age of a 530 if it was supposed to have a lightscribe drive it's too late.

Are you saying there is a sticker to that effect on the front?
Sounds like a refirb or off lease model not installed by dell.
