Lost icon on desktop for volume
I use firefox and when I updated it I lost my volume icon on my taskbar. help?

:emotion-1:What os are you using....is the audio working just the icon missing or has the audio stopped all together.

Go to the control panel > sound and audio devices > see if the "show icon" is checked, if it is, uncheck it, then apply and then check it again.

I tried checking the box for the icon but it won't let me, says volume control program is not installed. Help??:emotion-18:

:emotion-1:Try going to dells drivers and downloads for your machine ,download the audio driver and reinstall it.Other than that alls i can think of is you remember when it happened do a system restore to an earlier point in time when that was working.
Hope that does it if not let us no....
