Loud comptuer
I have an XPS 200 dell computer and it is very loud. When I bought my computer quite a while ago it was said to be the most quiet computer out there. Now it is loud and it bugs. I opened up the computer and seem to discover that the noise is comming from the heat sink assembly. How do I fix this problem? Thank you to anyone who helps me understand this and who can help me fix my problem.

Hi Do it yourselfer,
I suppose your system is no longer under warranty. The heat sink has no moving parts, so I'm going to suppose it's the fan. This is a user replaceable part, as shown in your service manual. You can call Dell spare parts or just do a search for any of a dozen vendors that sell this part. About $20.
