Is there a reason that when I have 128mg of memory that I would show only 68% free when nothing is running but Windows?.....Thx, Cougar

Cougar,

Are you sure all that is running is Windows? Why don't you go to Start->Run->type msconfig in the text box->Startup tab, and tell us what program you have checked at Startup. You may be able to uncheck some of the items to improve performance. If you want to get an idea of what is actually running in the background, you can press control+alternate+delete to see what is running or go to Start->Programs->Accesories->System Tools->System Information->+ sign next to software environment->running tasks to see a list.
