Thanks for posting.
First, please describe your computer, model, and operating system so the experts here can have a better chance at assisting you. Then you would want to describe your mouse, is it a wired, or wireless mouse? Have you tried a mouse from a different computer? Have you tried your mouse on a different computer?
Lots of things that can be variable here, so please post back with more information. Thanks.
