Need Help: Windows Media Center

Okay, so my new Dell Studio 540 came installed with Windows Vista and I've had it less than a month and feel like I've been in touch with tech support every other day. GRRR! Whew... Anyhow, my newest issue is my media center, when I first checked it out was so fun. There were music videos, I could search by a nice little list of artists. I could go to Online Media then go to "explore" and look! There was the latest news, weather. Now, nothing. I can't find the videos. I cannot get any online content. What gives??? Where did it go? There are no troubleshooting subjects anywhere to tell me what is wrong. I found a snippet online that said something about if you reset your pc's calender back to mid december 08, it would come back, but it didn't work. What a stupid thing to have to do anyhow! Does Microsoft make ANYTHING that doesn't just end up the consumer off? If someone could enlighten me, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks.
