Need help, my new inspiron can't detect my optical drive.
Dear all,
I just bought a new inpiron 2310. Everythings work fine until 3 days ago I found out that my computer can't detect optical drive anymore. I've already checked driver for inspiron 2310 and try to install, but i doens't work. It has windows home 64 bit Japanese version, so I am really blind about this. Can anybody suggest something?

The Disk Drive section is the forum section for Optical drive problems. However, with a new PC your best option is to contact Dell support. If there is a hardware problem, only Dell support can get it corrected under warranty. We are just users helping users on this forum, we are not Dell employees.
