Need help with finding out what cpus work with one of my computers
I have a dell 3100 and I would like to see what cpus other than the stock Pentium 630 will work in this machine.I spent like 2 hours trying to find a solid list or answer but couldn't. I know that dell mobos don't support all cpus, that's why I am asking this question. I have heard that only Prescott processors will work but I want to make sure I am right. If you know a list of processors that work with this machine or at least know the specs a processor needs to have in order to work then please tell me them. Thank you!

This system supports only Socket T Prescott Celeron & Pentium 4 processors.
We would not recommend an upgrade on this system if this is being used as the primary system.
The technology on these models are obsolete, you may not find the right upgrades & if found will be expensive. You will be unable to use any of the latest OS /technology.
Our recommendation would be to invest in a new system.

No: Dual core CPUs.
Fastest supported: Prescott core P4, 3.4 GHz, 800 MHz FSB.
