Need new PSU for XPS 420

The one that came with my desktop and is in my desktop now has this information on it:
Model: N375P-00; Ref No. NPS-375AB B

Do I need to buy the same Model N375P-00?

RE: Need new PSU for XPS 420

Hello 33764,

Any standard ATX Power Supply should fit. However, if you want the same power supply (shipped with the system), you may contact Dell Spare Parts. Contact number for Dell Spare Parts sales team # 1-800-357-3355 (US Customers only).

Hope this helps!

Thanks & Regards

RE: Need new PSU for XPS 420

Thank you for answer.

I'm not sure I want to get the same power supply from Dell.

What would you suggest for me so I can get for a 'standard ATX power supply'?

I don't know what you mean by 'the above mentioned Graphics Card'

I don't want a graphics card. I want a power supply unit.

Sorry, but I don't know much about computers!

The XPS 420 does not use a Dell proprietary power supply, standard ATX power supplies with either, a 24-pin or 20+4-pin, main motherboard power connector, are compatible and can be installed.

Because the XPS420 have an open back panel, a power supply with or without the on/off switch can be used, you should be able to buy a replacement from most local and online computer stores.

A power supply, with five SATA power connectors, is required.

Check out the Corsair and Antec brands of PSU's.

Bev.

The part of the back panel where the power supply is installed, is open, this allows a power supply that has the on/off toggle switch to be installed.
